Alabama dive team explains drowning victim recovery, lake safety
ALEX CITY, Ala. (WBRC) - Even the most experienced divers in the state say they never get used to the feeling of recovering a drowning victim’s body. “You never get used to it,” said Jerry Sewell with the Alex City Fire Department Dive Team. “What I tell my guys is ‘What if it was your loved one? Wouldn’t you want to bring them home so they can have closure?’”
