Carr continues summer workouts with Wolverines: 'old Carver is gone'
G.W. Carver coach Bobby Carr said he saw “a lot more good than bad” as the Wolverines went through their first OTA of the summer at Trinity on Thursday. The first-year coach continues to work on team chemistry over the summer with former Carver players as well as those from Sidney Lanier, which closed down in May and merged its student population with Carver. The OTA, an NFL term for “organized team activities” prior to the official start of practice in August, was the first opportunity for the Wolverines to blend in work with the offensive line and a talented group of running backs after three earlier 7-on-7 tournaments.
