Parents need to teach kids how to interact with officers
Another recent shooting of a young teenager by a police officer should be a wake up call to all parents. Whether or not the shooting was justified is still under investigation. But this boy's life and the lives of others could have been saved if parents had taught them how to interact with police. If confronted by police officers, kids should be taught to do as they say, to never run away, to drop anything that could be mistaken for a weapon, and above all to never point anything, especially a weapon, whether real or a toy, at the police.
The environment is worth more than 100 Grand
If you’re like me, you love to reward yourself with a sweet treat after a hard day’s work; my guilty pleasure is the chocolatey goodness of a 100 Grand candy bar. But what happens to that 100 Grand wrapper when I put it in the garbage?
