Connie Seville Dies At Scene Of Franklin County Crash: PSP

Connie Seville, 64, died at the scene of the crash that happened at the intersection of PA Route 75/Fort Loudon Road and US Route 30/Lincoln Way West at 7:26 p.m. on Friday, August 2, PSP Chambersburg Trooper Joshua Shane detailed in the release.

Seville was driving a 2019 Chevrolet Cruze when she failed to stop at a red light striking the front end of a 2012 Dodge Caravan, Shane explained.

Seville was extracted, and pronounced dead on the scene; the Franklin County Coroner was called to investigate. Her 36-year-old passenger was flown by Christiana Care/LifeNet to the Hershey Medical Center for suspected serious injuries, according to the release. The police explained that the passenger was a woman from McConnellsburg but her condition is unknown at the time of publishing.

The driver of the Caravan was not injured, according to the police.

Both vehicles have "disabling damage" and were towed away by Dave's Truck Repair, Shane wrote.

According to her obituary posted on Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home Inc.'s website:

"Connie was a homemaker, she loved staying at home taking care of her family, especially her grandchildren. They were everything to her. She enjoyed cooking, camping and trips to the beach. She touched the lives of so many around her, she will be missed."

She is survived by her husband, two daughters, three sisters, and six grandchildren, as explained in her obituary.

A visitation is scheduled at the funeral home in McConnellsburg from 12 to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug.11.

One of her daughters has launched a GoFundMe fundraiser campaign to help cover the funeral expenses writing in part:

"My mom was known by many and was a legend. I want my mom to know how much she was loved by everyone."
