    1 firefighter injured battling blaze at Hooters in Dallas' West End, officials say

    A firefighter was injured Monday while battling a two-alarm fire at the Hooters in Dallas' West End, fire officials say.

    The first call came in at 11:23 a.m. Monday at the restaurant in the 2200 of N. Lamar Street, Dallas Fire-Rescue said.

    Smoke could be seen coming from the building.

    The injured firefighter was transported to Parkland Memorial Hospital in stable condition with minor injuries to his head, face, and leg, according to Dallas Fire-Rescue.

    Officials said the cause of the fire was under investigation.
