    11 Dallas restaurants require rechecks; roaches, flies seen in latest inspections

    Eleven Dallas restaurants required reinspections and flies and roaches were seen in the latest health inspections, according to city data.

    There were 281 inspections from June 23 to July 6.

    Dallas inspection data is based on a 100 point system. Score ranges are as follows:

    • 100-90 (Very good - Regular 6 month inspection)

    • 89-80 (Good - Regular 6 month inspection)

    • 79-70 Passing - Requires re-inspection within 30 days)

    • 69-60 (Failing - Requires follow-up inspection within 10 days or closure)

    • 59 and below (Unacceptable - Closure; requires inspection before reopening)

    No restaurants failed or scored under 60.

    Eleven restaurants scored between 70 and 79, requiring reinspections:

    • Step-N-Go at 8188 Spring Valley Road, 79

    • Subway at 14891 Preston Road, 77

    • Williams Fried Chicken at 8502 South Lancaster Road, 77

    • Campisi’s Pizza at 7632 Campbell Road, 76

    • Havana Cafe at 1152 North Buckner Blvd., 74

    • 7 Brew Coffee at 15707 Coit Road, 73

    • Birrieria Aguinaga LLC at 330 West Davis St., 73

    • City Cafe & Bakery at 12101 Greenville Ave., 73

    • Los Balones Sport Bar & Restaurant at 2905 Webb Chapel Exit, 72

    • Taco City Y Mas, LLC at 265 Comstock Street, 72

    • Hall’s Honey Fried Chicken & BBQ at 4845 South Lancaster Road, 71

    Six restaurants had follow-up inspections:

    • Hiep Phong BBQ And Vietnamese Sandwich at 10560 Walnut St., 85

    • Williams Fried Chicken at 238 West Illinois Ave., 95

    • Subway at 200 Short Blvd., 96

    • Golden Corral at 1540 North Cockrell Hill Road

    • La Potocina Meat Market at 5302 Singleton Blvd.

    • Sam’s Club at 12000 McCree Road

    Inspectors observed roaches at:

    • Dona Maria at 13490 T I Blvd., 80

    • Cesar’s Tacos at 2919 West Davis St., 81

    • La Nueva Puntada at 3818 West Clarendon Drive, 82

    • La Tia Estela Mexican at 2967 South Westmoreland Road, 83

    • Ag Foods, LLC at 7101 Harry Hines Blvd., 84

    • Eno’s Pizza Tavern at 407 North Bishop Avenue, 85

    • Tres Arbolitos Taqueria at 3212 Falls Drive, 88

    • Tate’s Dallas Bar at 2723 McKinney Ave., 89

    • Tacaria at 8702 Spring Valley Road, 90

    • Gold Rush Cafe at 1913 Skillman St., 92

    Flies and gnats were also an issue at 28 restaurants including:

    • 303 Grill In Bishop Arts at 303 West Davis St.
    • La Michoacana Meat Market - Carniceria at 8702 Spring Valley Road
    • Fitos #2 Tacos De Trompo at 3113 West Davis St.
    • Piada Italian Street Food at 6333 East Mockingbird Lane
    • Brookdale White Rock at 9271 White Rock Trail.
