Earlier this offseason, former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup signed a one-year, $3 million deal with the Las Vegas Raiders.

Less than four months later, on Tuesday, the Raiders placed Gallup on the reserve/retired list. According to NFL.com, the transaction is expected to become official on Wednesday.

The ex-Cowboys wideout appears to be hanging up the cleats.

Gallup, 28, played six seasons in Dallas from 2018 to 2023.

A third-round pick of the Cowboys in the 2018 NFL Draft, Gallup quickly became a trusted target for quarterback Dak Prescott. He played in 16 games (8 starts) during his rookie season, recording 33 catches for 507 yards and two touchdowns.

Gallup, however, put forth his best campaign as a pro just one year later in 2019. He set career-highs in receptions (66), receiving yards (1,107) and touchdowns (6).

For his career, Gallup totaled 266 receptions, 3,744 receiving yards and 21 touchdowns across 86 appearances.

We'll keep an eye out for an announcement from Gallup himself.
