    Micah Parsons Used Five Words To Sum Up His Thoughts About A Contract Extension With Cowboys

    Micah Parsons is one of the top defenders in the National Football League and a former top 15 pick who has gotten the most out of his ability with Coach Mike McCarthy's team.

    On Friday, Parsons made a bold, reassuring statement about his future with the team when asked during practice, as shared by Emmy-nominated reporter Patrik Walker.

    "I wanna be here forever," Parsons said while discussing his contract situation and life under new defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer.

    Parsons mentioned three players whose place in Cowboys lore has been secured due to their impressive accomplishments and longevity with the franchise.

    "I think when you talk about career legacy, I don't think there's a better career you can have when you're playing for the Star and have a chance to be the best with the star, retire as a Cowboy," Parsons said.

    "You look at (Jason) Witten, you look at Michael Irvin, you look at Emmitt, you see they're still in the community and still active."

    Parsons added that he plans on building a house in Dallas and being in the city "forever."

    "I love this city, I love the community, I love what it stands for."
