The contract drama between the Dallas Cowboys and Dak Prescott is ongoing as the franchise has yet to extend the star quarterback. Dallas hasn't extended any of their key players yet despite the 2024 season being right around the corner.
There's a chance Prescott plays elsewhere next season as it's not clear what the Cowboys plan to do with the veteran quarterback. If that's the case there should be a handful of teams interested in potentially signing or trading for Dak Prescott. With that said, NFL analyst Rich Eisen shares his top five landing spots for the star quarterback.
During Monday's episode of The Rich Eisen Show , Eisen revealed his top five teams who could be in the mix to acquire Dak Prescott. Additionally, Eisen hints at the idea that these five teams would be making this move in the hopes of winning a Super Bowl. He also keeps his picks realistic and only names franchises who could be searching for a new quarterback next offseason.
With that said, the five teams Rich Eisen believes could sign or potentially trade for Dak Prescott include the New York Giants, Los Angeles Rams, Seattle Seahawks, Las Vegas Raiders, and Pittsburgh Steelers.
Each of those five teams are intriguing landing spots for Dak Prescott if he doesn't re-sign with the Cowboys. Considering the quarterback situations for these five teams are potentially questionable next season, one of Rich Eisen's picks could pull through and acquire Prescott.

Jerry Jones and the Cowboys have seemed adamant about extending several of their key players. However, it's unclear if Dak Prescott is truly in their long term plans. Dallas has several tough decisions right now as stars CeeDee Lamb and Micah Parsons are due for extensions as well.
On top of that, head coach Mike McCarthy is in the same boat as Dak Prescott. McCarthy's contract ends after this season. As of now, it's unknown what the Cowboys plan to do with McCarthy.
With the contract drama ongoing, Prescott hinted at a possible departure from the Cowboys during a press conference with the media before training camp. However, the veteran quarterback did make it clear he'd like to remain in Dallas for the entirety of his career. But he's certainly being realistic with his situation.
Prescott has proven to be a reliable quarterback for the Cowboys. But the fact Dallas hasn't come close to a Super Bowl could lead to his departure after this season. Last year we saw the veteran quarterback put up strong numbers that included 4,516 passing yards, 38 total touchdowns, and a 69.5 completion percentage. Those are stats that most teams in the league would love to have from their starting quarterback.
