VSP: Body found in reservoir matches description of missing Bennington man
VERMONT (WRGB) — A body found in Sherman Reservoir matches the description of a Bennington man who went missing 10 days ago, according to Vermont State Police. On the morning of August 24th, 2024, the Vermont State Police were notified of an object floating in the Sherman Reservoir. At approximately, 9:47 AM, the State Police located the body of a male floating in the reservoir. The body matched the description of Matthew Housekeeper who was reported missing on August 14th.

The Town of Lee is currently facing what appears to be a similarly intractable problem in the remediation of the Housatonic River. Lee should consider how it can employ such genius to see that the Rest of River Cleanup Plan is implemented favorably for the town’s, and other South County towns’, benefit. Regrettably, Lee has chosen a far less judicious path.
