Man taken to hospital after reported assault ‘by several guys’ at Southern Park Mall
Boardman police were dispatched to the food court at the Southern Park Mall at about 2 p.m. Aug. 10 to investigate an alleged assault. Dispatchers stated one of the victims was unconscious and lying on the floor of the food court. When officers arrived, officers talked to the brother of the victim, who returned to the food court after getting his hair cut and found his brother being “repeatedly punched in the face by several guys.” When the brother intervened on behalf of his sibling, the assailants left the scene.
