    Senior fraud seminars to be held in Danville, Champaign

    CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — The CRIS Healthy Aging Center of Vermilion and Champaign County is teaming up with State Senator Paul Faraci (D-Champaign) to teach seniors how to shield themselves from scam artists.

    The senior fraud seminars will be held on July 15 at both the Danville and Champaign CRIS Healthy Aging Centers. The Danville seminar will be held at 10:30 a.m. at 309 North Franklin Street. Champaign’s session will be at 3 p.m. at 4116 Fieldstone Road.

    “With the threat of fraud on the rise, it becomes increasingly important to protect our seniors,” Faraci said. “Hosting senior fraud seminars in our district ensures were equipping older adults with the knowledge and resources they need to safeguard their finances.”
