Missouri woman sentenced for interfering with family housing rights
A Missouri woman has pleaded guilty to interfering with the housing rights of a St. Louis family. U.S. District Judge Rodney W. Sippel sentenced Judy Kline, 55, to five years of probation, the maximum term available for this crime. During her probation, Kline must remain in the nursing home where she is currently living and receiving mental health treatment, or a similar facility. She is also prohibited from contacting the victims or approaching their residence.

Boil Water Advisory issued for Fenton homes
FENTON, Mo. — A large portion of Fenton in St. Louis County is under a boil water advisory after a main break on Friday, according to Missouri American Water. "Any water to be used for drinking or cooking should be brought to a rolling boil for 3 minutes," the water utility said in an alert Friday. "Water is OK for bathing, washing and other non-consumable uses. You will receive another notification should additional action be required or conditions change, or when normal water use may be resumed."

A Union woman was injured Thursday in a three-vehicle crash on Highway 50, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Union sales tax returns up for the year
The City of Union saw its sales tax revenue increase in the 2023-24 budget year, but less than it has in the previous five years. In all, the city collected $2.74 million in sales tax revenue between July 1, 2023 and June 30, 2024, according to figures released at the Board of Aldermen’s Monday meeting That was up from $2.69 million collected in the 2022-23 fiscal year, an increase of 2.03 percent.
