Moline man arrested in Davenport with 8 1/2 pounds of marijuana, over $10,000 in cash

A Moline man is in the Scott County Jail after Davenport Police say he had over eight and a half pounds of marijuana, 53 THC cartridges and over $10,000 in cash around his home and in a vehicle.
According to court documents, officers with the Davenport Police Department were called to an apartment in the 400 block of LeClaire Street on July 24 at about 3:48 p.m. for a drug investigation. Justin Andrews, 24 of Moline, was detained at the scene while officers served a search warrant and found:

2,557.40 grams of marijuana located in six separate commercial marijuana packaging bags inside a black duffle bag on the living room floor
21.15 grams of marijuana located in a book bag
$642 US Currency located in a purse
Kitchen
111.90 grams of marijuana in a cereal container
79.05 grams of marijuana in a vacuum sealed bag located in a U-Haul box in the kitchen
Multiple THC cartridges found in a Door Dash bag in the kitchen; 14 MKX hybrid, 14 “Happy” brand, 17 Mua Meds and seven “Flightz”
42.55 grams of marijuana located in a pink lid container in a Door Dash bag in the kitchen
66.30 grams of marijuana located in a “Denver Cole” commercial packaging
10.50 grams of marijuana in a plastic bag located in a camo book bag in the kitchen
“Flightz” brand THC vape located in kitchen drawer near $569 in U.S. currency

Andrews was found with $1,522 in U.S. currency and the keys to a vehicle on his person. Officers then executed a search warrant on the vehicle and found:
1,019.95 grams of marijuana located in four separate commercial marijuana package bags inside of a black book bag in the trunk of the vehicle
Black digital scale with marijuana residue found in the center console of the vehicle
Black cup with marijuana residue found behind the front driver seat on the floorboard
A box of opened sandwich bags
The marijuana in the apartment and vehicle field tested positive and did not have a tax stamp.
Andrews has been charged with four counts of possession with the intent to deliver, which is a felony charge, two counts of failure to have a drug tax stamp, both felonies, and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors. He is in the Scott County Jail on a $15,000 cash-only bond and has a preliminary hearing in Scott County Court on August 2.
