Larry Wise Signs Professionally in Sweden
CANYON, Texas – Former West Texas A&M All-American guard Larry Wise has signed a professional contract to play for Södertälje BBK in the Swedish Basketball League. Lady Buffs Announce Seymour to 2024 Class
CANYON, Texas – West Texas A&M's head coach Brittany Harry announced the addition of Naomi Seymour to the 2024 class. The Lady Buffs will host the annual BritKare Lady Buff Classic on September 5-7 featuring Ferris State, Texas A&M International, Central Missouri and West Virginia State. WT will face Ferris State in the season and home opener on Thursday, Sept. 5 at 6:00 p.m.

Men’s Golf Adds Stetson Provence for the 2024-25 Campaign
CANYON, Texas – West Texas A&M men's golf head coach Axel Ochoa has announced the addition of Amarillo product Stetson Provence for the 2024-25 campaign. Provence returns to the Panhandle following two seasons at Southwestern Christian University in Bethany, Oklahoma. As a junior in 2023-24, Provence registered a scoring average of 74.7 with a pair of top-ten finishes at the U.C. Ferguson Classic and the NAIA Memphis Shootout. The Amarillo product began his collegiate career at Western Texas College in Snyder.
WTAMU Bain Athletic Complex opens
A state-of-the-art athletics complex and fulfillment of a long-held dream of faithful supporters has opened today at West Texas A&M University. The fully complete Bain Athletic Complex, located on Russell Long Boulevard west of Bain-Schaeffer Buffalo Stadium, opened with a ribbon cutting and tours, capping off a nearly 15-year and $12.5 million project.
