Carroll City Council Highlights Before/After Work At Fairview Village Apartments
Carroll city officials highlighted renovation work at the Fairview Village Apartments during last night’s (Monday) meeting, showcasing the stark difference between its current and previous owners. MW Capital Group 2 LLC purchased four of the five buildings from Carlson Property Holdings and Management earlier this year and has gotten to work gutting the dilapidated interiors and refinishing them with modern amenities. Chargers Volleyball Prepares for Season to Start
The AC/GC Chargers volleyball team is getting ready for their 2024 season to begin, with their first game on Monday. The team has begun practice, and will be looking to build off the success of last season. The team played in 87 sets, recording 727 assists, 792 kills with 388 errors on 2,535 attempts. They also had 21 solo blocks, 47 assisted blocks and 1,207 digs. In the serving statistics, the Chargers tallied 266 aces, and had 1,545 successful serves on 1,730 attempts for a serve efficiency of 89.3 percent. The Chargers ended the year with a 21-11 record, going 6-0 in conference play.
