4-year-old boy found wandering was seeking help for father, police say
OLD ORCHARD BEACH, Maine — Police responding to a report of a 4-year-old boy walking alone on Thursday, July 18, did not realize he was seeking help. When an officer of the Old Orchard Beach Police Department walked the boy a quarter-mile back to his home, he found the boy's father had suffered a medical event. Police say he was taken to Maine Medical Center and has since made a full recovery.
Three injured in Scarborough crash

A New Jersey man pleaded guilty Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Portland to robbing two U.S. postal carriers at knifepoint and burglarizing two post offices. The U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Maine said during a one week period in January, 31-year-old Winston McLeod and another man broke into the Paris and North Monmouth post offices and stole money and equipment.
