Two-hundred Students and 50 Faculty Members Take Part in South Brunswick H.S. Viking Cup for Philanthropy Fundraiser
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ -- South Brunswick High School’s Viking Cup for Philanthropy, a three-event competition involving more than 200 students and 50 faculty members, was held for the second consecutive year. TCMS collecting school supplies for kids
TIPP CITY — Tipp Monroe Community Services is collecting school supplies for children in Tipp City and Monroe Township from July 1 through Aug. 1. Book bags and school supplies are given out during the last two weeks of the Lunch On Us summer lunch program, said a Tipp Monroe Community Services. Several blue donation tubs are around Tipp City, including the TMCS office, Monroe Federal at both branches, Tipp City Public Library, and Zack Jacobs-State Farm Insurance. All donations are greatly appreciated.

Preschool Advantage, a nonprofit based in Morristown, has announced it will place 100 children in local preschools for the 2024-2025 school year across Morris and Somerset Counties. “We’re thrilled to have helped so many children, as the need has never been greater,” said Nancy Bangiola, Executive Director of Preschool Advantage. Five from Piscataway Named to University of Hartford’s Honor's Lists
WEST HARTFORD, CT -- The University of Hartford announced that 1,927 students have been named to the Dean's List and President's List for the Spring 2024 semester. The Dean's List recognizes students achieving superior academic standing. ALJ High School Teacher Fredy Reyes Attends Holocaust Conference in Berlin
Clark, NJ — Noted German playwright Frank Wedekind once said, “Monuments are for the living, not the dead.” Arthur L. Johnson (ALJ) High School social studies teacher Fredy Reyes spent a week in and around Berlin visiting many such monuments. Reyes attended a week-long program studying the Holocaust and the Cold War. The trip was run by Centropa, a nonprofit organization that strives to educate teachers from Israel, Europe, and the United States about European history, especially the Holocaust.
