    Local member of outlaw motorcycle club appears in court

    DAYTON, Ohio ( WDTN ) — One of the suspects arrested in a nationwide sweep of an outlaw motorcycle club appeared in court this week.

    Joseph Rader pleaded “not guilty” to a charge of conspiracy to commit assault with a deadly weapon.

    Rader was one of 14 members of the “Thug Riders Motorcycle Club” arrested earlier this month on June 13.

    The U.S. Attorney’s Office says the club operated a criminal enterprise nationwide and abroad, with members and associates committing a variety of crimes including murder, arson and assault.
