Storms will likely redevelop this evening across the Miami Valley. Unfortunately, some of these may linger into fireworks time tonight.

A few of the storms could be strong to severe. Damaging winds would be the main concern with any severe storm, but an isolated, brief tornado cannot be ruled out.

Heavy rain and lightning are a good bet regardless of if a storm is severe or not.

Storms wind down after midnight. Mostly cloudy, warm and muggy with lows in the lower 70s.

News Center 7 will update this story.
