    Dayton police arrest man for bomb threats, criminal damaging

    DAYTON, Ohio ( WDTN ) — A man has been arrested in connection to several bomb threats and criminal damaging complaints.

    The Dayton Police Department announced the arrest of Paul Chirco on July 4. The man was allegedly involved in numerous cases of criminal damaging and calling in false bomb threats.

    Police say there were multiple calls made this week, but when officers went to investigate each claim, they found each threat to be unfounded.

    The suspect is also accused in connection to multiple criminal damaging complaints, several at the same location. Detectives investigated each complaint, which led to identifying the suspect and arresting him.

    Chirco is currently booked into Montgomery County Jail while he waits to be formally indicted on numerous felony charges.
