DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A cold front will move across the Miami Valley Friday evening. As it does, it will spawn a couple early-evening showers. Outside of that, it will be dry and become increasingly more comfortable during the late evening and overnight hours.

Although temperatures will be seasonably warm over the weekend, the advancing, much drier air mass will lead to a couple of very comfy days. High pressure will slide in behind the aforementioned cold front and bring lots of sunshine through Monday..

TONIGHT: A passing evening shower or isolated thunderstorm possible, then clearing skies. Low 65

SATURDAY: Partly to mostly sunny and much less humid. High 83

SATURDAY NIGHT: Mostly clear and comfy. Low 64

SUNDAY: Mostly sunny. Warmer, but still quite comfortable. High 87

The summer heat and humidity will return Monday with highs reaching 90° under mostly sunny skies. Our next weathermaker could bring rain as early as Monday night. The threat of showers and storms will continue through the day on Tuesday into Tuesday evening. Wednesday will bring partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the mid 80s.
