    DAYTON, Ohio ( WDTN ) — It’s going to be another hot summer weekend, and there’s lots of things to do inside and outside across Dayton! 2 NEWS compiled a list of events.

    County Fair Outlook

    Ohio State Fair – Running in Columbus from July 24 through Aug. 4.

    Clark County – Ends this weekend on July 26.

    Butler and Shelby Counties – Ending on July 27.

    Preble County – Begins this weekend, happening from July 27 through Aug. 3.

    Auglaize and Greene Counties – Running from July 28 through Aug. 3.

    LIST: County fair season arrives in the Miami Valley

    Friday, July 26

    Annie Oakley Days Festival – 9 a.m., 800 Sweitzer Street, Greenville. Take a step back in time with Darke County’s second oldest festival, happening all weekend at the fairgrounds. Learn more .

    Celtic Festival – 5:30 p.m., 237 E. Monument Avenue, Dayton. One of Dayton’s largest summer festivals returns this weekend with food, music, dancing and more. Learn more .

    Dayton Silent Disco – 8 p.m., E. Fourth Street, Dayton. The monthly dance party returns to Yellow Cab Tavern this Friday, featuring the theme, Space. Learn more .

    Celtic Festival 5K/10K – 9 a.m., 111 E. Monument Avenue, Dayton. Before you visit the festival, work up an appetite during the annual 5K/10K race, open to runners and walkers of all ages. Learn more .

    Preble County Fair – 9 a.m., 722 South Franklin Street, Eaton. Head in to Eaton to make some memories with a demolition derby, rodeo, live music and more. Learn more .

    Sunday, July 28

    Greene County Fair – 8 a.m., 120 Fairground Road, Xenia. From livestock to carnival rides, there’s something for everyone at this fair. Learn more .

    C-47 Fly-in at the USAF Museum – 1 p.m., 1100 Spaatz Street, Dayton. Visit the Museum of the U.S. Air Force to see “That’s All Brother” fly in before a public viewing this week. Learn more .

    Cancer is a Drag – 11 a.m., 1001 Brown Street, Dayton. All proceeds from this drag brunch at Jimmie’s Ladder 11 will go toward the American Cancer Society. Learn more .
