‘World’s Longest Yard Sale’ happening in Ohio

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — If you’re looking for new items for your household, this annual event might be what you’re looking for.

The World’s Longest Yard Sale is a shopping event taking place until Aug. 4 on U.S. 127 . In the Miami Valley, the route runs through Butler, Darke, Mercer and Preble counties.

Although there are numerous single vendors set up, organizers have named three local “major” stops where 25 or more vendors will be present:

• 9430 U.S. 127 in Greenville
• 7777 U.S. 127 in Camden
• 4020 Pleasant Ave. in Hamilton

Across Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and Tennessee, the event runs around 690 miles.
