Fairfax City’s 2024 Summer Restaurant Week to return in September

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. ( DC News Now ) — If you are looking to dive into the authentic flavors from Asian Azerbaijan, Italy, and more, the Summer 2024 Fairfax City Restaurant Week is returning with extra spice.

Starting on Sept. 2, food lovers will have to taste the authentic dishes from more than 30 restaurants dispersed across the city. From steaks and lobsters to pizza and bubble tea, organizers said this summer’s restaurant week has something for everyone.

During the week, participating restaurants will have special menus where diners can enjoy meals at a set price. This includes brunch or lunch for $25, or a three-course prix fixe dinner for $40. Some specialty restaurants and food purveyors will offer a Two for $10 deal.

“From the fine dining experience to pizza by the slice, we have something for everyone to try. There is a dish for every palate and an experience for every budget,” said Catherine Read , Fairfax City Mayor.

This city has held seven winter restaurant weeks, but 2024 marks the third year for the summer version.

“Fairfax City Restaurant Week has been so successful thanks to the hard work of so many including co-sponsors Fairfax City Economic Development, Old Town Fairfax Business Association and the Central Fairfax Chamber of Commerce,” said CEO and Director of Fairfax City Economic Development Christopher Bruno .
