    2 dogs taken to animal hospital after Damascus garage fire

    MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — Two dogs were rescued from a townhouse fire in Damascus Tuesday night.

    Crews from the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service responded to a fire in a townhouse garage, located at 10400 Ridge Landing Pl. around 9 p.m. There, firefighters were able to put out the fire.

    No one was hurt but two dogs were found unconscious when they were removed from the home. The dogs were given oxygen and they woke up.

    The dogs were taken to an animal hospital in Rockville.
