The 14 people charged received a summons for the violations. The violation has a civil penalty that was increased from $1,000 to $10,000 for the person or business.

This depends on whether it’s a first or consecutive offense in a 36-month period.

If an employee is the one who did the violation, the business is given a $100 penalty and the employee is given a $100 fine.

The businesses could also have their licenses suspended or revoked.
