    Man arrested for Temple Hills shooting that killed 1, injured another

    TEMPLE HILLS, Md. ( DC News Now ) — Police arrested an 18-year-old man for shooting and killing someone in Temple Hills over the weekend.

    The Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) said that officers responded to the 3300 block of Huntley Square Dr. around 3:30 p.m. on Sunday. Police found 43-year-old Antonio Bell of Oxon Hill, who had been shot. Bell died there.

    Another man had also been shot. PGPD said that the second victim is expected to survive.

    Police said that the suspect, 18-year-old Izayah Matthews of Temple Hills, ran away after the shooting. Officers found him and took him into custody late Saturday night.

    PGPD said that Matthews shot the victims during an argument.

    Matthews was charged with first and second degree murder and other related charges. As of Monday, he was being held without bond.
