    Driver of dump truck killed in crash on I-95 in Prince George’s County

    PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — Maryland State Police (MSP) said the driver of a dump truck died after a crash on I-95 in Prince George’s County on Tuesday morning.

    State police told DC News Now that shortly after 9:15 a.m., troopers were called to I-95 and Sandy Spring Road for a crash involving a dump truck.

    The driver, who was the only person in the truck, died at the scene.

    MSP said investigators are working to contact the victim’s next of kin.

    As of Tuesday morning, the Prince George’s County Fire Department said those traveling on I-95 could expect major delays, and several northbound lanes were closed.

    The cause of the crash remains under investigation by MSP.
