    Crews battle townhouse fire in Fairfax County; no reported injuries

    FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. ( DC News Now ) — Investigators are working to learn what caused a fire to break out at a townhouse in Fairfax County early Wednesday morning.

    In a post on X at 12:06 a.m., the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department said crews were on the scene of a fire in the 7200 block of Jillspring Court in Springfield.

    The fire department said when units arrived, they found flames and smoke coming from the back of the townhouse

    As of Wednesday morning, the fire was out.

    Fairfax County firefighters said no one was hurt.
