The birthday girl also has a female handler, making the duo the first-ever female K-9 team in PWCPD history, according to the department.

Chaffee is named after the M24 light tank and is well-skilled in patrol and explosives detection, PWCPD said.

“K9 Chaffee is 2!” PWCPD stated in a post on X. “Happy birthday Chaffee!”
