    DC Public Library invites community to show off their talent ‘Open Mic Night’

    WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — If you love to sing or recite poems, DC Public Library is inviting you to take the spotlight at its “Open Mic Night” this weekend.

    Starting at 3:15 p.m., at the Martin Luther King Kr. Memorial Library, people can sign up to take the stage to show off their talent.

    New craft shop opens in DC to help families express creativity

    Organizers said the event will start at 3:30 p.m. and ASL interpretation will be available upon request.

    The library will have a microphone and speaker ready. However, if performers need additional equipment, they will need to provide it.
