    Oh deer! Firefighters rescue fawn trapped in fence in Oxon Hill

    PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — One fawn in Prince George’s County is safe and sound after firefighters rescued it from a fence on Friday morning.

    In a post on X around 11 a.m., Prince George’s County Fire Department (PGFD) firefighters were called to help free a baby deer that was trapped between a fence in Oxon Hill.

    Once on the scene, firefighters jumped into action and quickly helped the fawn get loose.

    PGFD said the fawn was not hurt and reunited with its mom, who watched crews work from the wood line.
