Prince George’s County Animal Shelter hosting pet parenting workshop

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — The Prince George’s County Animal Shelter is hosting a free pet parenting workshop Saturday.

The Pet Parenting Class is a free workshop that the shelter hosts every first Saturday of the month at noon and the next one is going to be held on Sept. 7.

Attendees will learn what it takes to be a “responsible pet owner” and how to foster a great environment for animals.

Topics will cover necessary food, time, toys, safety and more. There will also be a Q&A portion.

Walk-ins are welcome but you’re encouraged to register by calling (301) 780-7200, option 6.
