Bond denied in Portage murder case
VALPARAISO — A judge had denied a bond request from a Gary man charged with murdering a 20-year-old Hammond man in April at a home in Portage. Man that led Eau Claire police chase arrested
EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – A 37-year-old man is now in custody after leading Eau Claire police on a chase last month. He is also wanted in connection to an attempted homicide in Madison. Madison police say Jerome Jacobs Jr. was arrested in Gary, Indiana today with the help of US Marshals. Jacobs was previously identified as the alleged shooter in a drive-by shooting in Madison on June 9th. Two people were hurt.
