Lead Fire Dept. extinguishes smoldering slash pile near Terry Peak
LEAD, S.D. - At approximately 1:53 PM on Sunday, June 30, the Lead Volunteer Fire Department responded to a smoke report in Raspberry Gulch, about one mile south of Terry Peak and eight miles southwest of Lead. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered a smoldering slash pile emitting smoke and small flames.
