STURGIS, S.D.– The Sturgis Motorcycle Museum will unveil a stunning new painting by acclaimed artist Scott Jacobs. Titled “Rivals in the Dust,” the artwork celebrates American flat track legends Scotty Parker and Jared Mees, both nine-time AMA Flat Track Champions. The unveiling will take place at the museum on Monday, August 5 at 1 PM. The public is invited to attend, with tickets available through the museum. Suspect identified following standoff near Pinedale Elementary
RAPID CITY, S.D. - An armed suspect has been apprehended by police following a seven-hour standoff near Pinedale Heights. At about 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 21, law enforcement received reports of gunshots in the area of 5200 Pinedale Circle.
