I lost a family member back in early December of this year. As many of you know losing a family member is never easy, so we decided to honor in him in a way we know he would love. He loved the sport of soccer, therefore we took a family trip to Missouri to honor him by going to a sporting KC soccer game. To finish the bitter sweet weekend we stopped at a rest area on the way back home. As I was walking I looked up to see a Mickey and Minnie Mouse quilted heart hanging in a tree. I truly feel like this was a message sent from him as Mickey and Minnie are my favorite Disney characters. Seeing this heart truly made mine feel healed.
