Woodbury family members seriously injured in fatal rollover crash in Missouri
Three members of a Woodbury family were seriously injured and a Kansas man died Sunday evening after a one-car rollover crash in Missouri. Karam Bedros, 65, of Woodbury, was driving a 2012 Kia Sorento north on Interstate 35, 7 miles north of Eagleville, Mo., around 5 p.m. Sunday when the vehicle traveled off the west side of the road and struck an emergency median crossover, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol crash reports.

Serious Injury Crash In Mercer County
A Princeton woman had serious injuries in a two-vehicle crash in Mercer County Friday. Forty-three-year-old Rachel Franklin of Princeton was flown to St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City following the crash that occurred at about 3:55 pm on Route E, SE of Princeton. According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, Franklin was westbound, crossed the center line, and was traveling in the eastbound lane. An eastbound vehicle driven by 27-year-old Eldo Eaglen of Milan swerved to avoid the collision, but the passenger side of the vehicles struck.

Helicopter Crash In Benton Township
Deputies with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department responded to South Galena Road in Benton Township for a helicopter crash. EMT courses to be offered in Osceola
Southwestern Community College (SWCC) will be offering an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) course in partnership with Clarke County Hospital, beginning on Tuesday, August 6. The EMT course provides comprehensive training in emergency medical care. Participants will learn essential skills, including patient assessment, trauma management, and life-saving interventions. Upon successful completion, students will be eligible for a Southwestern College Certificate of Achievement and can take the National Registry of EMTs certification examination.
