Former ‘SNL’ Star Victoria Jackson Says Doctors “Cannot Operate” On Her Tumor, Leaving Her With About Three Years To Live

Victoria Jackson just shared a harrowing health update. After informing her followers about a CT scan of hers, the former Saturday Night Live star — who appeared on the NBC sketch comedy show from 1986 until 1992 — took to Instagram once again this week, posting a video in which she gave her followers an “update on the cancer,” per Deadline .

“They cannot operate and cut out the marble in my chest that is laying on my windpipe, and eventually would suffocate me to death,” she explained.

Jackson, who in 2016 had broken the news of her breast cancer diagnosis, shared that a “magic pill” that is “based on Ribociclib” would be delivered to her front door, which she said “will shrink the marble, hopefully.”

“I looked up the pill on Google and it says people who take this have 32.6 months to live — something like that,” she added.

As noted by People , she wrote that she has “34.8 months to live” in the caption of her post, though.

Jackson remained optimistic, referencing the Bible and highlighting that she’s “had a fantastic life.” However, she acknowledged some events that she would like to stick around for.

“I’d like to see my grandson born — his name is Jimmy — in October, and get to know him a little, and I would like to see my daughter Aubrey have a baby,” she reflected.

Along with appearing in over 100 episodes of SNL , Jackson garnered a slew of other acting credits, including cameos on Family Business , The Weird Al Show , The X-Files , and Sabrina The Teenage Witch .
