‘The Bachelorette’s Aaron Erb Gets Called Out By Twin Brother Noah For Self-Help Book Drama: “I Don’t Think The Book’s The Move”

The Bachelorette ‘s Aaron Erb came, he saw, he gave a self-help book, and he stirred up some serious drama. But now he’s getting a reality check from a surprise “Men Tell All” guest: his twin brother, Noah Erb.

The twins made headlines earlier this Bachelorette season after Aaron gifted his in-show nemesis Devin Strader a self-help book and encouraged him to better himself. The move was extra controversial because a man named Bennett did the exact same thing to his brother Noah during his Bachelorette Season 16 run, though Aaron claims he didn’t realize the similarities in the moment. Suuuure.

“Me giving Devin the book wasn’t from a place of being condescending. I actually care about him as a person. So I wanted him to have a resource so that he could be a more aware person of how he comes off, which he didn’t realize,” Aaron said while defending his actions during the “Men Tell All” episode. “Also, I didn’t realize in the moment my twin brother, a few years ago, [was] getting a similar type of book. I wasn’t thinking about that in the middle of Australia, but I realized it was very similar. I was just on the opposite end of it.”

Among a select group of Bachelor Nation alum in the audience were Aaron’s brother Noah Erb and his fiancé, Bachelor Nation’s Abigail Heringer, so franchise host Jesse Palmer asked Noah what he thought about the whole situation.

In an unexpected twist, Noah did not defend his twin, and we’re genuinely unsure if Aaron saw the comments coming based on his facial expressions.

“I was on the other side. I had a 40-year-old dude from Harvard that was like, ‘Hey! I’m from Harvard, you’re from Oklahoma! Those two don’t go together! So I’m better than you, and this is what you should do!” Noah recalled.

“Aaron, you’re my twin. We were in the womb together. But I don’t think the book’s the move,” Noah continued. “I don’t think anybody should tell somebody that they are or aren’t ready. We’ve all got our own journey.”

Earlier in the night, Aaron also addressed his dramatic exit from the show and revealed which men he was trying to warn Jenn were not ready for an engagement.

“Two obvious ones would have been Devin, at the time. I feel like he treated it like a game. I’ll also say it was, I was thinking about Sam N. You know, the love virgin. This is not on the job training. You should probably be ready,” Aaron clarified. In a last-minute response, he also added Spencer’s name to his list, prompting Spencer and his pals to defend his intentions.

“I’m divorced. I know how difficult it is to heal from a failed relationship. Watching you on your one-on-one, how uncomfortable it was talking about your engagement. It just didn’t feel like you were fully healed or were ready,” Aaron told Spencer.

“Oh yeah, because I’m comfortable talking about getting cheated on by someone I was about to marry? You can still be healed and can not be comfortable,” Spencer said. The two went back and forth for a bit until Hakeem jumped to Spencer’s defense, saying, “You have no right to say anything about Spencer, because Spencer is amazing. Everybody, what you saw, he’s that person. He is that person. He was there for the right reasons, and [Aaron] has no right to say when a man is healed or not.”

“That book, you need to go back to Australia and grab that book and reread it,” Brian said. Iconic.
