‘Today’s Jenna Bush Hager’s Daughter Once Snuck Under A Bride’s Dress At A Wedding And Announced, “She’s Wearing Underwear!”

Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager doled out some much-needed advice to their Today viewers about love, weddings, and marriage during a special love-themed broadcast. But Bush Hager had one cautionary tale to share for a particularly “organized” bride who wrote into the show.

The viewer explained that they created a “very detailed spreadsheet for the day” of their wedding, but her in-laws “haven’t seen it yet.” She asked, “I’ve sent it to them multiple times. How do I get them to read it?”

Bush Hager gently offered the bride some advice. “They’re not gonna, they don’t need to read it. That schedule is for you honey, that schedule’s for YOU to keep YOU organized,” she explained.

Kotb appeared exasperated at the idea of receiving a “very detailed” schedule for a wedding she was attending. “Look, I get it you want to make sure everything is where you want it to be. But, come on,” she said.

Bush Hager added that weddings become the “most fun… when things kind of go astray.”

She then turned to Kotb to share a hilarious story from a wedding she once attended with her family, including her 8-year-old daughter Poppy.

“You remember at Libby’s wedding when Poppy went under her dress? And was like, ‘She’s wearing underwear!’ That, if you had a too-detailed…,” she recalled. She trailed off her thought as she and Kotb began laughing at the memory. She then mimicked her daughter announcing to the wedding, “‘Don’t worry, mom! She’s wearing underwear.'”

When they recovered, she continued, “Now, if you had things planned minute by minute, that wouldn’t allow for that type of, you know.” She also jokingly asked Kotb if she thought Libby was “gonna love” that she shared that memory with “everybody” on national television.

Kotb, however, was still laughing from the story. “I forgot about that,” she said.

This isn’t the first time Bush Hager’s kids have called someone out about their undergarments. Her eldest daughter, Mila, once announced on a broadcast of Today that her mother “ never wears underwear .”

She added, “She’s not wearing it right now! I saw her change.” As everyone in the studio laughed, Bush Hager covered her daughter’s face and rushed her off the stage.
