Slaton, 36, and Brian Scott Lovvorn were both arrested in the parking lot of the Tennessee Safari Park after police arrived to investigate an incident of a visitor being bitten by a camel, per Page Six .

When authorities approached Slaton and Lovvorn’s car, they were “immediately overtaken by suspicious odors coming from the guest’s vehicle,” per a Facebook post from the Crockett County Sheriff’s Department.

Subsequently, Slaton and Lovvorn were both arrested on illegal possession of Schedule I, illegal possession of Schedule VI, and two counts of child endangerment.

“The charges and allegations referenced in this release are merely accusations of criminal conduct and not evidence,” the Sheriff’s Department post notes. “The defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt and convicted through due process of law.”

The two women — who weighed over 1,000 pounds combined at one point —  have had their lives chronicled on the show since 2020, revealing everything from their relationship issues to weight loss surgery and family life.
