    Defiance common pleas

    Andrew Layne, 44. Stryker (CCNO) appeared for sentencing on a charge of strangulation, a second-degree felony; and aggravated possession of drugs (methamphetamine), a fifth-degree felony. He was given a prison term of four years 11 months to six years and 11 months with credit for 79 days served in jail while his case was pending.

    Kenneth Reed, 63, 1138 Riverside Ave., pleaded guilty to aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and his bond was continued. Sentencing was set for July 25.

    Roxanne Rupp, 41, Archbold, pleaded guilty to theft, a fifth-degree felony. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and her bond was continued. Sentencing was set for July 9.

    Levi Socha, 23, Stryker (CCNO) pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property, a fourth-degree felony. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and his bond was continued. Sentencing was set for July 23.

    Eric Boyce, 47, Bryan, pleaded not guilty to receiving stolen property, a fifth-degree felony. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for June 20 and he was given a personal-recognizance bond.

    Billie Downs, 49, Edgerton, pleaded guilty to aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and his bond was continued. Sentencing was set for July 25.

    Manuel Canales, 24, Stryker (CCNO), pleaded not guilty to three counts of rape, each a first-degree felony. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for June 17 and bond was set at $500,000 with a 10% allowance provision.

    Gage Gilbert, 21, Stryker, pleaded not guilty to failure to appear as required by recognizance, a fourth-degree felony. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for June 17 and he was given a personal-recognizance bond.

    Tina Goings, 57, 700 Summit St., pleaded not guilty to aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony; and OVI, a first-degree misdemeanor. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for June 20 and she was given a personal-recognizance bond.

    Maggie Groh, 25, Grover Hill, pleaded not guilty to aggravated trafficking in drugs, a third-degree felony. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for June 24 and she was given a personal-recognizance bond.

    Alyssa Johnston, 32, Toledo, pleaded not guilty to aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for June 24 and she was given a personal-recognizance bond.

    Brandon Moser, 22, Paulding, pleaded not guilty to aggravated trafficking in drugs, a third-degree felony. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for June 24 and he was given a personal-recognizance bond.

    Dalton Talbott, 28, Stryker (CCNO), pleaded not guilty to two counts of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor, a second-degree felony; and illegal use of minor or impaired person in nudity-oriented material or performance, a fifth-degree felony. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for June 11 and bond was set at $500,000 with a 10% allowance provision.

    Brittany Wulff, 36, 18548 Schubert Road, pleaded not guilty to corrupting another with drugs, a second-degree felony; aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony; and two counts of endangering children, each a first-degree misdemeanor. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for June 14 and bond was set at $500,000 with a 10% allowance provision.

    Joel Wulff, 37, 18548 Schubert Road, pleaded not guilty to corrupting another with drugs, a second-degree felony; failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer, a third-degree felony; aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony; and two counts of endangering children, each a first-degree misdemeanor. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for June 14 and bond was set at $500,000 with a 10% allowance provision.
