Talen Jourdan set to compete in Paralympics for Team USA
With the Olympic Games about to start on Friday, July 26, be on the lookout for one Deerfield graduate competing. Talen Jourdan, a 2018 Deerfield graduate, will be competing on the Team USA Paralympic Men’s Basketball Team. Jourdan will be 1 of 12 players competing on the basketball team that will attempt to win their third-straight gold medal. Jourdan, who has won gold medals with Team USA at the 2022 World Championships and 2023 Parapan American Games, will be competing in his first Paralympics. The Paralympic Games will begin on Wednesday, Aug. 28 and run through Sunday, Sept. 8.
