Five Days Left to Vote Early for August 1 Elections
A total of 342 people has cast ballots during the first eight days of early voting for the August 1 elections. On Saturday July 20 the election commission reports that in Smithville at the courthouse 30 voted and from that number 26 cast ballots in the Tennessee Republican Primary and 4 in the state Democratic Primary.
To Date Eighty-Nine Vote Early for August Elections
A total of 89 people cast ballots during the first two days of early voting for the August 1 elections. On Friday July 12 the election commission reports that 75 voted including 42 in person at the courthouse along with 10 absentees, and 23 were voted at the nursing home. Of that 75 number, 55 cast ballots in the Tennessee Republican Primary and 15 in the state Democratic Primary.
