4 hospitalized after car hits trees in DeLand, firefighters say
DeLAND, Fla. – A single-vehicle crash early Sunday in DeLand sent four people to the hospital, according to firefighters. The crash occurred around 3 a.m. at the intersection of South Julia and West Voorhis avenues, the DeLand Fire Department said on social media. The car struck several trees and one of its occupants was ejected in the crash, the post states.

DELTONA, Fla. - Troopers are working to identify and locate the suspect in an alleged road rage incident that ended with five bullet holes in another car. The shooting was reported just after 9 p.m. on Monday in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 4 between mile markers 105 and 108 in Deltona, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
Two men injured in DeLand plane crash identified
The occupants of a Cessna aircraft that crashed in a backyard in DeLand causing minor injuries last week were identified Tuesday by the sheriff's office. The pilot was Roberto Isaias Chang Mera, 30, of Daytona Beach, and his passenger was Norman Antonio Borge Carcamo, 42, of Coral Springs, according to a sheriff's office incident report.
