It’s time once again for #FlashbackFriday with the Whitewater Historical Society. On Sunday, July 21, 1974, exactly 50 years ago this coming Sunday, the Whitewater Historical Society celebrated opening its museum of local history at the historic Whitewater Passenger Depot. This image shows the visitors waiting for the festivities to begin. It was a crowning achievement for the historical society, founded in 1947, to finally have a place to showcase its collection of Whitewater-related artifacts.
