Ex-UN weapons inspector Scott Ritter’s home in upstate New York was raided by the FBI as part of a federal investigation, Wednesday, officials said.

An FBI spokeswoman confirmed to The Post that agents conducted a raid on the Delmar home as part of a federal investigation. She declined to comment further, citing the ongoing probe.

Ritter, a convicted sex offender, told reporters outside his Delmar home after the raid that the warrant focused on potential violations of the Foreign Agents Registration Act, the Times Union reported .

He recently had his passport seized by the US Department of State as he tried to fly to Russia for a conference – a brouhaha he contended in the Russian propaganda site RT was a spiteful move against his pro-Russia stances.

The raid came a day after Ritter, the former chief weapons inspector in Iraq, palled around with Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who was in an Albany courtroom for a hearing over whether the independent presidential candidate should be on New York’s November ballot, the Times Union reported.

“Burgers with Bobby!” Ritter posted on X Tuesday, along with a photo of himself and the bear-dumping Kennedy scion.

The photo appeared to be taken in Recovery Sports Grill, a bar and restaurant housed within the Hilton Garden Inn in Albany.

Ritter was found guilty in 2011 of having an explicit online chat with a detective who pretended to be a 15-year-old girl. He spent around two and a half years in prison.

He was also twice accused in 2001 of having pervy contact with teenage girls, including arranging a sex rendezvous at Burger King with someone he believed was a 16-year-old girl – a case in which his charges were dismissed.

Ritter served as a weapons inspector in Iraq during the 1990s as part of an international effort to disarm Saddam Hussein’s regime. After resigning in protest in 1998, he became a vocal critic of US foreign policy in the run up to the Iraq War.

In recent years, Ritter has become increasingly aligned with Russia. In 2022, his Twitter account was briefly suspended after he claimed Ukrainian police, not Russian forces, killed hundreds in the Kyiv suburb of Bucha.

Kennedy, when asked on his way out of court Wednesday why he dined with Ritter, said it came down to admiration.

“Because I admire his stance on foreign policy, on trying to keep this country out of unending war,” he said.

Ritter is only the latest accused sex pest that Kennedy – who recently admitted to bizarrely dumping a black bear cub’s carcass in Central Park – has been chummy with.

Kennedy has admitted to twice flying on notorious sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein’s plane, though he denied seeing anything untoward. He also volunteered that he had contact with a rogues’ gallery of prominent pervs.

“I knew Harvey Weinstein, I knew Roger Ailes, I knew… O.J. Simpson came to my house. Bill Cosby came to my house,” he said in a March interview .
