Section V girls soccer had an incredible season last fall.

Spencerport and Haverling won New York state titles. Thirty-eight girls were selected to all-state teams . Keegan Smith of Haverling was named the Gatorade New York Player of the Year .

Who is the best girls soccer player entering the 2024 season? The Democrat and Chronicle took a look at the top returning players across each classification.

The nominees were selected if they were members of the 2023 All-Greater Rochester first or second team , or all-state.

The list includes an Aquinas sophomore who was named to the AGR team as a freshman, a Byron-Bergen junior who already has 100 career goals and a Spencerport senior who led Monroe County in goals and assists and is committed to play at Virginia Commonwealth University.

You can vote on which prospect you think will be the player of the year until 8 p.m. Saturday. Readers can vote more than once.
